Summer 2018 21 West Virginia Banker Citizens Bank of WV Announces Staff Promotions Citizens Bank of West Virginia President & CEO Nathaniel S. Bonnell recently announced promotions for three employees: Deborah T. Ritter to Vice President & Branch Manager; Rebecca Falbo Schoonover to Vice President & Financial Advisor; and Melissa D. Stalnaker to Executive Secretary/Officer. Debbie Ritter earned vice president status having been employed with Citizens for 34 years and has worked in all areas of the bank including branch manager, assistant branch manager, loan officer, loan specialist, loan clerk, proof operator and teller. She is a graduate of Tucker County High School, WV School of Banking, and WV Bankers School for Branch Managers. She has attended numerous bank seminars and lending courses throughout her banking career. Active in the Tucker County community, Ritter serves on the Board of Directors for the Tucker Community Foundation and is a member of the Tucker County Chamber of Commerce. Ritter resides in Hambleton with her husband, Mike, and they have one daughter, Kristin Thomas. Financial Advisor for Citizens Bank’s Wealth Management Department, Rebecca Schoonover has been promoted to Vice President. She earned a B.S. degree in Mathematics from the University of Charleston and received her securities registration in 2003. First National Bank of Williamson Charley McCoy was recently named Pr s- ident an CEO for b king operations at First National Bank of Williamson. McCoy, who had served as vice president and chief credit officer in Williamson, repl ces Tranquilla Whitt, who retired April 30, af er a more than 28-y ar banking career. McCoy, 50, has 30 years of banking experience. He joined FNB in 2010 as chief credit officer and commercial lender in Willia son. First United Bank & Trust Frankie McIntyre recently joined First United as Community Relationship Manager of the Falling Waters, WV office. Frankie has over 20 years of extensive financial services experience. He began his financial services career in 1997 as a traditional teller and has been consist- ently promoted throughout the years. He has held positions that include Customer Service Represent- ative, a Retail Services Officer as well as several years as a Mortgage Loan Officer. FNB Bank, Inc. Travis Delaplain was recently appoint- ed to the Board of Directors of Eastern Bancshares, Inc. and FNB Bank, Inc. Travis began his banking career in 2011 as VP/CFO and was promoted to President & CEO in January 2014. Through Travis’ leadership, FNB Bank has grown to over $185 million in assets with four locations and 57 employees. Joshua Hartman recently joined FNB Bank as Marketing Manager at the Fort Ashby Branch, Mineral County. Prior to his career at FNB Bank, Josh worked as a law enforcement officer. He obtained his Bachelors in Business Administration from Ohio Christian University. Josh will be responsible for business development in Ft. Ashby, WV and the surrounding areas and the overall management of the branch. Ohio Valley Bank Stephenie Peck was recently promoted to Assistant Vice President, Regional Branch Administrator. She will be relo- cating her office to the Main Office-Mini Bank campus. Peck began her career at Ohio Valley Bank in 1997. She is a grad- uate of Southwestern High School and currently resides in Patriot, Ohio. In 2012, she received Ohio Valley Bank’s highest honor, the Joycelyn M. Barlow Award of Excellence. Community Trust Bank Recognized by Small Business Administration Community Trust Bank, Inc. was recently recognized as West Virginia’s “Exporting Lender of the Year” by the United States Small Business Administra- tion (SBA). The award was presented May 2, 2018 at the SBA’s Small Business Week Awards Ceremony in Fairmont, West Virginia. Community Trust Bank was the top dollar SBA lender in West Virginia during the 2016-17 federal fiscal year. Community Trust Bank closed eight SBA-guaranteed loans totaling more than $7,853,500, including the first 7a International Trade Loan in West Virginia history.
