The bank opened its Fair- mont branch in 2007 and through continued support from the community, it was able to open a location in Farmington. “One thing we don’t want to be is stagnant,” Ryan Curry, President and CEO of BCBank said. “We want to manage the growth as further opportunities arise” According to Curry, BCBank saw an opportunity in this area when another bank moved out in 2018. “When the previous financial institution moved out, we saw a great opportunity to fill some needs for the community as being the local bank of choice,” Curry said. “Farmington is a close-knit community. They’ve always supported local businesses, so when we saw the opportunity, we had to jump at it.” The importance of a bank to remain in this small town is immense. There are many residents in Farmington and the surrounding area that rely solely on this bank. BCBank is ex- cited to get to know the service area and begin a relationship with the welcoming individuals of this community. The Farmington Branch is the fourth full service branch for BCBank, which also has branches in Philippi, Nutter Fort, and Buckhannon.  On January 23rd, 2019, BCBank officially opened its second branch in Marion County. A ribbon cutting was held in celebration, with Chamber of Commerce members and individuals from the community present.
