Mock III was recently promoted to Mar- ket President of the South Market. He will be responsible for the management and operation of all nine United Bank offices in the South Market, which encompasses Raleigh, Fayette and Nicholas Counties. Other responsibilities include building client relationships with an emphasis on new business development in Southern West Virginia, management of commercial and consumer banking departments and com- mercial lending. First Sentry Bank Jon Ours recently joined First Sentry Bank as Vice President of Risk Management. He will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing a risk management program for the bank. Prior to joining First Sentry, Mr. Ours served as a Senior Financial Institutions Examiner with the West Virginia Division of Banking where he supervised a portfolio of state-chartered banks with assets ranging from $40 million to $8 billion. United Bank Doug Ernest was recently promoted to Execu- tive Vice President, Credit Risk Management. He will be responsible for credit risk manage- ment activities for United Bank.
